Home Nebulizers and Respiratory Medications

AdvantaCare's licensed Respiratory Therapists and Pharmacists provide expert advice on a wide variety of home nebulizers and respiratory medications. Just like with Home Oxygen, our licensed Respiratory Therapists respond to the needs of each individual patient by providing the nebulizer system most appropriate for his or her lifestyle.

The Aeroneb Go 7070 Micropump Nebulizer is a fast, efficient, simple-to-use device developed for the millions of patients worldwide who require respiratory therapy in and away from home. It eliminates many of the problems associated with current methods of nebulized medication delivery. Unlike compressor, ultrasonic, or mesh-based nebulizers, the Aeroneb Go Micropump Nebulizer allows patients to complete their treatments quickly, with minimal wasted medication, and delivers a high-quality respirable aerosol.

Why use AdvantaCare’s nebulizer program?

  • AdvantaCare takes care of verifying patient insurance to minimize patient out-of-pocket expenses and to lessen the burden on physician office staff

  • Patients can get their nebulizers immediately through our physician office consignment program or fast homecare delivery service

  • We minimize the hassle for patients to replenish their supplies by calling patients 10 days before they run out of medication to get reorders; this eliminates panicked calls to the physician office when patients run out of their medication

  • Physicians can feel assured that they are associated with a top-notch team of pharmacists and respiratory therapists who provide expert advice on home nebulizers and medication options

  • Patients can travel with confidence using our lightweight, portable nebulizers

A.K. is an 83-year-old male with COPD. When he was 77 years of age, he developed pneumonia and was hospitalized. While in the hospital, he received continuous oxygen and nebulizer treatments. He was medically stable after 10 days in the hospital and his physician referred him to AdvantaCare Medical for homecare service.

AdvantaCare provided a nebulizer and continuous oxygen which are covered by Medicare. The patient’s physician ordered dual meds comprised of unit dose Albuterol (2.5 mg) and Atrovent (.5 ml) Q4. The goal of the nebulizer treatment was to relieve the patient’s labored breathing. The patient was trained on how to use his nebulizer medications, take his treatment and clean and monitor his equipment. AdvantaCare continues to call this patient monthly to monitor his nebulizer medication usage.

This elderly gentleman is very mobile and enjoys traveling to Las Vegas and other locations from his home in Northern California. The patient continues on AdvantaCare’s service with a portable nebulizer and oxygen system and he has expressed to the team how excited he is to maintain his active lifestyle.
